Vortex PST hands down. I have had a number of Mark 4's and they were OK. I would take a Vortex over the Leupold's any day. Leupold kind of had the market corned for a long time in this country. But once they started getting tactical scope competition, IMO they never rose up to meet or beat...

Re: Case trimmer recommendation I purchased a like new Giraud on ebay with a .308 and .223 trimmer setup. Best purchase I have ever made. Trimming is now a non issue where as before it was my most dreaded reloading chore.

Re: Primer Pin Whole Amazing thing is I just had a .308 load do the exact same thing!! My load was 44.0 Varget 175 SMK, WW brass. I think that particular round had Remington primers in it. Not sure on the primer because my ammo box got tipped over and I had WW and Remington primers in it...
