What is the typical price range for a Accuracy International AE or AW with a legacy folder stock in .300 WM?

My AE MkIII 2.0 is comfortable to get behind and chambered in 6XC is great shooter!

Best 2-stage trigger for R700 clones?

Anyone know which of those 2 stage triggers might fit in a Cadex chassis? I used a single stage and want to switch it out.

    LMT .308 MWS

The 260 barrel has a 1-9 twist, where the 6.5 has a 1-8, with the different twist rate I think that why guys have had accuracy problems with the 260 shooting heavier bullets. If you have a barrel that you don’t use, using that barrel extension off that barrel you can have someone fit a different...

Best Rifle Case For A Precision Rifle

Try tracing it on some cardboard under the rifle, then double check the cut out before the foam. Electric carving knives work great for cutting either types of foam.

Cadex Defence, flaunt it if you've got it!

Really happy with my Cadex chassis. It comfortable to shoot, even 2 plus year of shooting and I still have regrets for my choice.

    LMT .308 MWS

Personally I like longer barrels, it gives me a little more fps with out pushing the pressure. In 6.5 to only go out to 600 yards pretty much any length will work. My 6.5 is 20” but my 6mm is 26”. With 108BT I can push 3100fps with no pressure signs. Plus it shoots nice little groups. Good...

    Gunsmithing the intricacies of threading?

Most manufacturers use Class 2 threads to insure parts are interchangeable no matter where they go. If you can find a 5/8 24UNF die you can chase the barrel threads fast and easy. Just use lots of oil.

    LMT .308 MWS

Guys on my MWS I had Mark Chanlynn make up a 6 Creedmoor barrel for me. I used a standard gas block which Mark had to straighten the gas tube. It feeds and shoots lights out. We robbed the adapter off the 308 barrel that came with it originally since I also have a 6.5 Creedmoor barrel for it...

LMT MWS 6.5CM - yes or no?

Mine been a shooter from day one. The 20” 6.5CM barrel arrived before my FFL had the rifle. Then I had Mark Chanlynn build me a 26” 6CM barrel, it a real tack driver. You can use any barrel as long as you can sacrifice a LMT barrel for the extension. The LMT 260 barrel is a slower twist which is...

    AI mag - disappointed

AI mag are tough to beat for reliability and wear. I have run standard, long, and CIP length with no issues is in AI, Rem, and Stiller. And in multiple chassis without any issues. Take a look at Badfingers post, he hit the nail on the head so to speak.

Cadex Defence, flaunt it if you've got it!

When I purchased my chassis Cadex chassis, they didn’t have much of a presence, the only pictures online were what Cadex had released. Since I needed a left hand chassis to fit a 338 action, it took a while to have the chassis made. But it was well worth the wait, Cadex attention to details...

Member Link Up Colorado: Places to Shoot, People to Shoot With

The long traget at BV is gone. My guess is the tubers that go behind might of had some close calls from guys missing the target. We had a group of Hide member meet down there a few years ago and there was steel it was like 1030yds or something just over the 1K point. It still a great range...

    338 build suggestions

What bullet your planning on using? Getting the chamber design so you are able to mag feed and not faced with a big jump is another thing you might consider. Some guys are face with a .050 to .100 jump to mag feed. Going with a thinner barrel they will heat up faster. I use a MTU profile and you...

Gunsmithing Where is the demand for gunsmithing?

Trinidad, Colorado has turned out some of the best people in the industry. In some cases your location isn't the issue, because shipping is always an option. In most cases your reputation is more important. Math skills are another important issue. Good luck on the journey.
