I never visit arfcom because I find the website a total mess and hard to navigate. It also doesn't appeal to me that it is run like a fascist state. But I'm still curious on what went wrong there. Is there one or a couple of stories behind it all or is the short answer "because arfcom".

Don't want to hang out brand or dealer before I've talked to them. Just want get some opinions whether the gun have run 25 rounds or 250. All guns I've bought before have all been shiny and clean.

Got a new rifle today. Sold as brand new from dealer but there is carbon all over the bolt. The bolt face has also a nice carbon ring from the primer. Feeling with a toothpick the face is slightly eroded, I can feel the edges. After how many rounds does the etched ring from the primer appear?

Sorry, think You missed the irony. You say AR Gold and I'll check them out but then jasonfaz found his mushy which I don't want in a trigger. Don't get me wrong, this is one of the best trigger threads I've read.
