I've found everything on this round except the bc. I've been having fun shooting my .223 @ 890 yds and i kinda think it would be cool to watch these tracers at that range. Just need some more data. Thanks.

Re: Mark II TR – 22 LR Yeah I took a look at the .17 version today and you're right dfoosking, the action is not the smoothest. I wonder if it would get better over time. Anyway I could forgive that small detail if it can shoot, which being a savage I'm sure it can. Thanks for the info guys.

Re: Brother in Afganistan I'm not sure but I think you're thinking of an older 249, because he said some other guys use a harris. The one he has came with a shorter barrel and a collapsible stock with a tri-picatinny rail. I think it's the M249 para.

Re: Brother in Afganistan Well, no shit deadly....I realize the m249 is not meant for long range work but I figured in the mountain region there's gotta be some kind of a small, all around variable scope/sight that would be a good for close shots and also some LONGER shots like 400 and...

My little brother is in afganistan, and i told him would get him some accessories for his rifle if he ever had to go. He's shooting a M249, he does some longer range shooting (400+). any ideas? Thanks. Also it needs to be stuff that his commanding officer can approve.
