Gunsmithing converting 30.06 into 300 win mag?
I know its poosible to convert an 06 to a 308 but what about an 06 to a 300wm? the gun is a rem 700. could you just get a new barrel? what would need to be in order for this to work?- mattwin7

Re: powdercoating? ps i tried the camo flat spraypaint from walmart that is supposed to stick to anything and it scratched off with a fingernail(i sanded them to bare metal too)- mattwin7

Re: powdercoating? well the guy doing it is a professional. he has a shop that has been in business for years but he has never done magazines and only a few guns but the powder would probably(just guessing) the typicall coat that is on stuff like iron frames and rims. ive seen his work-its...- mattwin7

Gunsmithing powdercoating?
has anyone ever powder coated ar15 magazines? i have a buddy that will powdercoat for me for free and i would like to powdercoat some old worn ar magazines and a old 22. has anyone done this before? how does it hold up to solvents? will it cover my reg numbers? thanks- mattwin7
