Re: Am I going to be disappointed? Your scope will do very well out to 300yds and beyond. The coarse adjustments shine during matches where one may have to dial way up for long range, then back down again. The problem with finer adjustments is that one could get lost amongst all the clicks...- Maverick-553

powder choice
Re: powder choice I've used IMR 7828 in 300Wby. and .243 Winchester. Burns consistently and produced good results. My experience is limited to the regular cut powder, but the super short cut ought to meter well. Recommended.- Maverick-553
