    I have the M82 reproduction HiLux scope. Its a great little scope. Always returns to zero, and has very clear glass.

    Help me understand my zero shift

    I would suspect a big change of 14 moa would be in your rifle. Check the torque on all your bolts. I havd found the biggest change was from the action bolts getting loose.

    I have heard that cleaning brass isnt a must. I like my brass clean so I clean it. Helps me to inspect my brass condition.

    Help me build a .30-06 load for this rifle. New to precision hand loading...

    For 600 yards plus I would look at the 175 SMK or the Berger 175. Imr 4064 is a good powder choice but, I have very good results with RL 19.

    30 Cal/168 SMK's

    A fat human hair is about .005 to .007. Pretty much everything made has manufacture variance but, you should get good results from your smk's. I found less variance with Bergers but they are a bit more pricey.

    Different zero

    Most likely the temp change. Having the action out of the stock can shift yout zero but, if you torque it back in to the same spec you should be gtg (or very slight change is possible).

    308 loads with no time to do load testing??

    A nice vanilla load that should deliver good accuracy out to 500: RL15 42.5 gr and 168 SMK. Should get you around 2630 fps. Seat them at 2.800 COAL. My best shooting group (at 200 yards) was RL15 42.0 gr and a 168 SMK- delivered consistent 1/4 MOA groups. I dont think it would dope in your rifle...

    Range Report Strelok ballistics config issue assistance requested!

    You need to chrono your rounds to get accurate results from ballistic apps. Strelok has trajectory validation where you imput your actual results and it reduces the error in calculations. What ever you choose to use stick with it and learn how the app works. You will get more accurate results.
