    Is the baffle removal tool approved by mack brothers, and is the warranty still good if one were to disregard the manufactures instructions? Typically warranties in this industry are voided if a product is used outside of the manufactures instructions.

    How often do you all clean your varmint 4.0? Mac Bros says they need to be cleaned every 50-100 rounds. I'm not thrilled with the idea of cleaning a silencer every shoot.

    I did send them an email. I have never used the charts before, but I sure looked like an idiot when I tried to use it. It's not like it is 10 years old. I would expect better support than that.

    Anyone know where to find the ballistic charts for the conex 1 mile? Clicking the link in the app goes to a 404 error, and I can't find it on their website. They definitely don't support customers very long.

    It just seems strange that you can easily handle the recoil and muzzle blast of a featherweight 25-06, but struggle with a pistol. Not trying to be an ass, just a reasonable observation is all.

    So basically, you shoot a 308 that has a felt recoil that is slightly heavier than a pencil barreled ar-15? My 25-06 weighs 6.5lbs bare with aluminum base and rings, and about a 1 pound scope. Maybe 8lbs total weight?

    Maybe it is because I typically square up behind the rifle, as opposed to the more angled shoulders like shooting offhand? I know that works well to control recoil with an ar15. I guess it might be better if my shoulder moved rather than trying to absorb the recoil?

    I can get 8 or 10 shots off at a bench with the 25-06 before it starts hurting too bad. I can do around 5 shot of 30-06. With the shotgun example I was able to go well over 100 rounds before I felt enough pain to have problems. I am guessing it is just the slower recoil pulse. Make no...
