Yes it is my first time hunting out west. I plan on doing this every year moving forward. I’ll be hunting in Southwest Wyoming. I hired an outfitter, which we will meet every morning and backpack.

Nice Deer!!! I would love to hunt with the TRG, but that thing may require a biathlon type sling to make it comfortable to hike with haha.

Just an update. I did not end up sending the range finder in, but i finally got to test its capabilities and was actually able to range a target at 4329 yards!! Was extremely surprised. I did it twice but was unable to repeat it after that.

I just purchased some 230’s and some ADG brass. Now I just need powder, everything is out of stock at the moment. Once I have all components I’ll come back with some loading details and range report. I have access to 1050 yards.
