Sturm Ruger has bought Anderson Manufacturing

Brother when everything fit together on the early ones I used a bunch of them. When they let QC go and I had to spend extra hours making poorly machined upper and lowers fit together they lost me The funny thing is they were capable of making anything from NASA spec to up armor for military...

Sturm Ruger has bought Anderson Manufacturing

This is absolutely correct. They made AR stuff for some top manufacturers before they did their own. They were told to make there guns higher quality and price accordingly. Instead they held bad tolerance and did huge volume. I quit using their stuff years ago

Hows does LaRue Stealth barrels rank?

Grains of H4895 in Lapua brass. With 175’s I basically use a duplicate of Fed GMM load Once I go to long...

    Help me pick a scope...

Glass on both are great. The Razor is made in Japan so costs more. The Viper is made in Philippines so less cost Razor is geared more toward pure hunting. The Viper is Tactical but works great for hunting as well I would look at both and decide for yourself. I have both and love them both...

    Help me pick a scope...

I have the Razor 4.5-22. Well actually three of them. I really like them. Another scope that has impressed me at the price point is hard to match is the Viper PST 5-25x50 HD https://vortexoptics.com/riflescopes-viper-hd-5-25x50+reticle-VMR-4~MRAD Just an exceptional scope for the money
