I bought quickdesign when I bought quickload so I could draw cartridges and import them over. That's the only way I know of. Maybe someone's already did it and would share there file with you. I would be happy to if I had mine finished but unfortunally I don't. Sure would save some powder that way.

I've got brass,dies and chamber reamer order from Dave. Can't wait till there done so I can finish up my rifle. Yours is very nice. Looking forward to hearing how she shoots.

Re: Machining question Making scope bases Back before I ran CNC machines I would rotate the head and use the corner of a 1inch End mill. I can't remember the angle but you could test on a strap piece till you get the desired radius. Worked pretty well and its cheap. I'll try to find my notes...

Re: Late nights. . . I run my small cnc shop with my 19 year old son. I love it. Can't think of anyone better to teach my hard won knowledge to. We often work late nights together. He helps make it seem like a lot shorter day.

Re: How about the 22 250 for f class mid range 22-250 would be a great choice. I think 1 in 12 will be a bit to slow for the heavier bullets though. Also barrel life maybe a bit of an issue. Iove 22-250 Probably my favorite round.
