5.56 I need your resources!
Do a pile of searching on this and various other forums and you'll hear mention of places. The ones mentioned the least are the ones that will have supplies. I make ammo for around $.31 a round. I buy once fired LC brass, I only reload it around 6 times. I buy everything in huge bulk to save...- milotrain

New lapua Scenar-L .308 Win 175gr bullets - any experience?
OAL is either specified for the cartridge or it's specified for jump. If it's jump then your rifle will define this length not anyone else's measurements. Jump them 10-20thou or run them at 2.82" if you are running a .308, and 3.340" for .30-06.- milotrain

Tight Bore barrels and 30-06 with heavies
Disclaimer: I have not shot a tight bore nor done any load development on it. I do own an Obermeyer .298 .30 cal barrel which is going on a 700 receiver as soon as I can get around to building it. This thread would suggest that you will not see much pressure difference, if any at all...- milotrain

New lapua Scenar-L .308 Win 175gr bullets - any experience?
Looks like 2550fps with a 203 A-MAX is just holding 1.2 mach at 1000yards depending on altitude, temperature and pressure. I'd like a bit more comfort zone to keep it above 1.25 past 1100fps or you'll likely be losing more points in elevation than you will save them in the wind.- milotrain
