    Yes but with a .475 G7 BC it should be the flattest shooting short action sub. Or atleast the least affected by the wind.

    My guess would be super efficient subs for smacking animals with authority. The high BC should cut the wing better than the 338 and 8.6. I don't know if hornaday would jump on board for saami because it competes with the 338 Arc.

    Not worth it. I did it to a 6 creed, turned it into a 6gt. Cut 3" of chamber end off. Shot great for 500 rounds. Then it died over the next 250. So 750 rounds total.
