I love living in Alaska, been here since I was three. There is no other State that even comes close to the kind of natural beauty we experience just walking out our door each morning. I live two mile from the Mendenhall Glacier. The wild life is beyond describing. We have Killer whales, eagles, Bears of every flavor and many critters that surround our home. Squirrels, Ravens, Crows and Porcupines to deer, Goats and Moose. Thousands of critters from the land, sea and air that we live among and enter mingle with on a daily basis. To go out for a walk in the woods is just plain enjoyable! Fishing is always superb and we never come home skunked. Halibut, King salmon and Silvers, King crab dolly Varden and Steel-head. Its a never ending smorgasbord of fresh food. The air is as clean as any on earth, the waters are pure and clean, sweet to drink and is in never ending supply. The only downside is the environment, it rains a lot and the winters are ... well, its ALASKA! Six months of darkness and six moths of sun that is beaming down giving you a sunburn at midnight. If you want to have the best life possible come to Alaska, its worth the harsh environment and the people are as friendly as any you'll meet...

Who steals my purse steals trash; Tis something, nothing;
Twas mine, tis his, and has been slave to thousands.
But he that filtches from me my good name, robs me of that
which not inriches him, and makes me poor indeed.
