    5.56- 69 SMK VS. 77SMK What am I missing here ?

    Have you considered 69TMK? I've found them to handle wind slightly better than the 77SMK. Less drop at 600 also.

    I agree, based on your stated use of "paper punching for itty bitty groups," which requires higher magnification. You can dial back if you shoot competition, hunt, etc.
