Suppressors Obtaining a concealed carry permit under 21?

Re: Obtaining a concealed carry permit under 21? You may be able to get one from there and it will be valid elsewhere. Check this site out; http://apps.carryconcealed.net/legal/ I am from SD but it shows all the other states that would accept my CCW and those that don't, perhaps this helps.

Fluted Bolts? Are they worth it?

Re: Fluted Bolts? Are they worth it? Mines fluted just cause thats how I got it, I think its purely for looks; I mean, sweeping dust? Really? I couldn't use that as an excuse to justify something like that in my mind. Seems to me that fluting just creates a void where dust can collect in the...

Suppressors Obtaining a concealed carry permit under 21?

Re: Obtaining a concealed carry permit under 21? All I know is I can legally carry in SD at 19(got it when I was 18). Only federal laws don't allow stores to sell to me, so I must purchase hand guns in private sale.

Suppressors Obtaining a concealed carry permit under 21?

Re: Obtaining a concealed carry permit under 21? Depends where you are...here in SD, I'm 19 and I have my concealed carry permit. I can also legally own a handgun through private sale, though stores by federal law cannot sell to me. I am in the military but that has no affect for this.

    Thinking of a new build...

Re: Thinking of a new build... Ah, well I don't really know about having a multi-role rifle. What I do have are Benelli shotguns, a Benelli MR1, and a 7mm rem mag rifle. Pretty much only using the high caliber for hunting big game or some fun medium range coyote hunting. I was thinking...

    Thinking of a new build...

Hello all, I've realized my rifles so far are either too small of a caliber, or meant for only hunting, not very well with long range so I'm motivated to get something hopefully sooner or later...I'm torn between getting a Remington 700 something or other and building that up, or should I force...

My 2nd Attempt at Camo Painting

Re: My 2nd Attempt at Camo Painting all these painting threads have me wanting to paint my rifle! But I do have a quick question...I'm gonna be having work done on my barrel and they was to charge me $120 to reblue it...can I just paint the barrel if I plug it and degrease it?

Re: New to long range, recommendations please Ah, I apoligize for posting in the wrong forum, my bad I didn't even notice. It seems there are many people here real serious about long range shooting...well I would like to, my income doesn't really support it so I really enjoy shooting and...

New to long range, recommendations please

I have a weatherby vanguard 7 mag, looking to get a muzzle brake. Right now I'm going to 1000 yards with it, right now I'm pretty spot on in 200-300 yds. Seems to be pretty accurate, but sometimes I can feel the recoil mess me up. Not bad for hunting but repeated shots it slowly gets to me. I...

New too high caliber - Weatherby question

I just picked up a Weatherby Vanguard for my first actual high caliber rifle for hunting bigger game but I'm also just using it for some fun long range shooting. I would like to build it up a bit over time but right now its got a decent but cheap scope that will work for a while. My first...
