    Gunsmithing Sako TRG Scope Mount Threading

    Had no problem removing screws , but the base would not come off my Trg. Is it loctited to the base as well? Afraid to put to much pressure on it to remove it. What did the trg owners end up doing to remove theirs. I’m guessing heat gun??

    I'm new to all of this long range shooting, so forgive me if this question is dumb. If a rifle is chambered in .308, is it possible to shoot 6br,and 6.5-284 in the same rifle if you change the barrel to match cartridge being fired?
