    Kestrel 5700 Elite Temp

    If you do not enter different velocities in the temperature table the software always assumes the one entered muzzle velocity you used when you zeroed and crooned the rifled the 1st time. It does not extrapolate different velocities unless you use the table

    I would choose 22.7 and once you shoot a couple groups then you can decide if you want to play with seating depth. I see you mentioned group size in case you were unaware this process has nothing to do with group size it is the location of point of impact

    I would not bother with the 308 if you are going to limit the barrel length to 20" and you want to shoot 1000 yards. With a 20" or shorter barrel, it will be very difficult to get enough velocity out of your load to keep it supersonic at 1000 yards.

    Look above the gun loader utility has the custom curves in it. down load that to your PC then create the gun profile with the Custom curve and transfer it to your kestrel
