Well, the first deer hunt is out of the way. My brother missed this guy at 810 yards with his creedmoor and after watching him bed down for a couple of hours, I went after him and jumped him out of his bed at about 100 yards. New GAP Extreme Hunter in 6.5 SAUM
First take with my new 6.5.................... Man, what a cartridge. I really really like it. Superbly accurate and recoil is minimal as has been said. My speed goat hunt lasted 16 minutes. Got to the unit boundary, got the rifle ready, drove 16 minutes, spotted a herd with a nice buck...- mtnwrunner
