Rifle Scopes Finding the right scope

Try to get a refund and don't make the same mistake again. You are strapped for cash so you are only hurting yourself by wasting money on cheap throw-away products.

    Rifle Scopes Bushnell

Thanks What has me interested in the 6-24x is the price difference in the 3.5-21x models. If zero stop and 10-mil turrets warrents a $500 price increase with the same internal quality between the DMR and ERS, I was hoping that the 34mm tube and locking turrets is what makes up the price...

    Rifle Scopes Bushnell

The 6-24x G2DMR is hardly ever mentioned. Are they junk, or are people turned off by the lack of adjustment with a 30mm tube? I've seen them as low as $800, and I'd think they have enough adjustment to push a .308 to 1000+ yards on a 20 MOA base so I'm wondering why they aren't mentioned often...

Would I be missing anything by skipping the bolt and going straight to semi for LR?

Home defense is one thing, but you act like purposing a rifle for "human targets" at long range is such a casual thing to do on an online forum... It's not worth getting into politics or anything else over it, and it doesn't seem like anyone is even arguing the 2nd here like you are making...

Rifle Scopes Is the Bushnell Elite ERS that much better than the DMR G2?

What I see expressed over and over is that you need to decide for yourself if 10 mil knobs and zero stop justifies spending $500 more of your cash. It's like a buying a car and deciding if you are going to pay for some extra luxury pack. Maybe these things will be useful to you, and maybe not...

    Rifle Scopes MOA

There are plenty of threads that continue with logical and mature conversation, so you need to ask yourself why yours turn out so bad. "If you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got." Let it be a lesson to you. If you wish to participate in conversation with those...

Rifle Scopes Nightforce SHV 5-20x56 2nd fp moa vs Burris XTR11 5-20x50 FFP mil

I for one would love to see some tests to confirm tracking/return to zero for the Burris. So far it's looking like a big contender in the price range I'm currently shopping.

    Rifle Scopes MOA

Hung up on the smallest detail? Poking holes in a story just for the sake of it is one thing, and I completely agree with you from that point of view, but he is claiming a 1500 yard shot on a 20" box that spanned 2 mildots. Even with all the rest of his nonsense set aside this is anything but a...

    Rifle Scopes MOA

What are you talking about? I've shot further than you did that day with a .17 cal rimfire.... I'm sure some people even take .22LR out to 300 yards...

    Rifle Scopes MOA

This gets better and better. We get him to make one post after another which only further prove he is full of crap, and yet he thinks this is still about a shot that was only ~280yds to begin with. Utterly amazing.

Of course you saw it clearly...it was less than 300 yards away...

    Rifle Scopes MOA

If you aimed at the top, and the second mildot was at the bottom of a 20" box, then this shot was 278 yards MAX, END OF STORY. If this doesn't make sense to you, which I'm sure it doesn't, then research a bit on mildot range estimation. It's actually pretty common for the inexperienced to...

Rifle Scopes Is anyone out there doing thorough tracking tests on their scopes?

Thanks for the replies. I have to ask, to those of you who have a good bit of experience with various optics, at what price range do you typically find mechanical functionality (namely tracking) to sort of level off and hit a plateau? In other words, things like illumination, zero stops and...

    Trigger pound pull

What are you talking about? You asked for a firing solution and only provided us with the range. You also thought objective size and magnification has something to do with it. This is undeniable proof that you have little to no understanding, and the fact that you don't see my point only...

    Trigger pound pull

"...clearly I'm not ignorant." You have got to be joking right? Ignorance is the defining quality of your posts, along with delusion. Just 5 days ago you thought that developing a firing solution only depends on three things: range, objective size and magnification. I think I had a better...
