I have a friend who's sps .223 was great out of the box with nothing but an AICS bolt on upgrade. I went ahead and got one with no such luck. Mine was a turd with an array of ammo effort. Scope rail is ridiculously crooked. Wont feed or eject dependably for s**t. (Though the AI .223 magazines...
This is the plain truth. In a day where companies like SWFA, Vortex and now Bushnell are producing quality at ever more reasonable price points to the extent it makes the $3k scopes far less bang for your buck in many people's eyes. I see this having more trouble than it would have a few years...
Check bugholes.com.com Greg is a hide sponsor and he regularly keeps stiller, trued rem and a couple other types of actions in stock. Good guy to deal with and his prices are good. Same with barrels, he has em in stock.

Weibad has some good stuff. I still went with the skidplate because it weighs basically nothing and its tough but soft enough that I can lean into it and it doesn't really affect the overall profile of my stock, which I very much like...
While I havnt owned those exact shoes, I have 3 different models of merril shoes I have worn over the past 4-5years for everything from work to some nicer "dress/ casual" type shoes and have found all of them to be quality well deserving of the price.
