The 2019 upgraded MDR's are 100% reliable now. We had initial issues with the gas system and extractor, both were remedied at the first of this year and all prior purchasers can send their MDR's in for the 2019 upgrades for free. It was a frustrating thing for everyone but we worked very fast...

JARD is coming out with an aftermarket MDR match grade trigger that we played with that is very nice for precision work.

I appreciate everyones feedback both positive and negative. We have upgraded all MDR's that we had backlogged in warranty so if you are waiting on yours it is en route back to you. Anyone wanting to upgrade their MDR then our current turnaround is 1 week or less.

Thanks for the support guys. Also for some insight the wider extractor requires the new case support piece inside of the barrel extension so its more than just changing the extractor the barrel extension must be removed and the new piece installed.

Gzitter milling lugs into the barrel is a bad idea because you would have to heat treat the rear of the barrel and I'm sure the steel used for the barrel would not be suitable to achieve necessary strength for the lugs. It would create a Big safety issue.

The key is not hanging any fibgers forward keep your hand in a tight fist profile. You don't have to muscle the bolt just key your finger profile low.
