    Re: scope sighting different users thanks for the responses and the explanations. Sounds like I just need to let him sight it in for himself with the advise of being consistent in his placement of his cheek on the stock.

    I'm fairly ignorant when it comes to getting someone else to sight in a rifle. I bought my son a new scope and a new rifle and then after moounting the scope and then bore sighting it on a target, I had him shoot a few rounds. He was off target by a good ways, low and a little to the right...
