Yep, that's the sort of thing I have seen in my searches. I am not fundamentally opposed to going that route, but I'm a keep it simple stupid kind of guy. If I could find a single part that serves both as riser and bolt-to-barrel base, I'm sold.- Nobletoad

Nemesis arms review or feedback
Had mine for about 2 years now and run it routinely. Its a .308 with a Nightforce NXS 3.5-15 X 50mm F1 and equipped with an AAC suppressor. I load my own for it, both standard recipes and sub-sonics. I also got the backpack option which easily houses the rifle, optics, suppressor, mags, kestrel...- Nobletoad

Many thanks. Good advice on the IR illuminator. While the Yukon unit has a built-in illuminator, I would characterize it as anemic - good for 50-ish yards, maybe. If the elevated rail you find is long enough, I'd love to find a high-quality illuminator to augment the low-end optic. Keep me...- Nobletoad
