Re: How reliable is the Savage Mark II? I have about 6 bricks (3,000 rounds) of Wolf MT through the Mark II BTVS with the only misfeeds coming from magazine issues. Make sure your mags aren't coming apart and you should be in good shape.

Re: Thoughts on 155gr Lapua Scenar .308 bullets Actually I find 155 Scenars to shoot better out of my gun at 100 yards that 168s or 175s. And they stay supersonic past 1,000. The only downsides are wind susceptibility (vs 175s and 180s) and they are damn hard to find at the moment!

Re: Favorite Stock for a Savage Mk ll or (Lakefield) I really wish someone made a good fiberglass stock for this action. I shoot monthly 22 tactical matches and my rifle has gotten really dirty and pretty wet. The laminated BTVS stock is starting to show some wear and I'm worried about it...

Re: Our own Copper Solvent Test Wow, this is really interesting stuff. All I have on hand is some Hoppes Benchrest and some Gunslick foam. I should try this with them and see what happens. I'm always wondering if this stuff is really working or not.
