Thank you guys for all the input. It seems that dial foot elevation and hold for disagree works best for me. I'll have more stupid questions coming as I shoot more. -Dick- Edit: I've only held out to 600 so far. I will like to learn to dial so I can get further out.
rpk: for high power any rifle and any sight may be used but it must be fired from a sling. There were a few f class shooters but I was in the pits when they were shooting and one was hitting less then 1/4 moa. I never got to talk to him about what he was doing with his scope. Infinity: the...
I couldn't find where to put this question so here it is. I recently participated in a high power match and was curious how y'all handle shooting up to 1k yards. Do you dial in the scope for each shot or hold over once you have the elevation set. -Dick-
It is not a stupid question because you've never done it. You have to get it down past the o-ring and hold it all the way down. Tiborsaueus Rex has a YouTube video showing how to do it as well as 8541 Tactical. -Dick-

How is the camera wired to the transmitter? Just a little curious. Is there a way to connect them to a laptop or tablet and just record the video that way? -Dick-
I do not have QL but that could fall into a temp sensitivity issue. What temp was the load predicted and what was your ammo temp prior to shooting? -Dick-
I just finished reading all the links above. I understand what Mr Long is talking about (I used to build antennas for communications). Now that I understand OBT is there a formula to account for primer and powder burn along with the cases and chamber pressure without QL to land within OBT? -Dick-
I am using an sps tac. All that I'm alloted goes into shooting, gas and range fees rather than building up the rifle. I'm saving up for a chassis but stock is what I have to work with for now. I tried to take out the box from the floor plate and it didn't work too well. Do you have an idea...
I've been using the OTM for a while and couldn't get a hold of any lately and I ran out. What I could get was the 185 VLD. The OTM I loaded to 2.8 COAL and it was fine. Is there anybody out there that uses the 185 VLD in 308 win that jumps from mag length? If so, How far are you jumping to...
