Hey guy's, were any other lowers used on original MK12's beside Colt?????

I'm looking to replace the bottom metal on my Kimber 300 Win Mag Patrol Tactical rifle with a detachable magazine bottom metal setup. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think CDI Precision is no longer in business. I've googled till I dropped and can't find anyone that makes what I'm looking for...

Yep; and if you ever do find one the guy usually wants a small fortune for it, I found a couple of Leupold's but the prices were way out of my range. Sorry about the big picture above, I'm not too good with computer stuff.

What model is the one in the picture above? I went with a Nightforce NXS 2.5-10x24 ZeroStop Mil-R Riflescope C538. It looks like yours except for the markings on the bottom

Thanks mjh, finding a scope is really starting to make my head hurt, I'm actually getting a PRI Mod O Gen II complete rifle and want to get it as close as possible to correct. Would a Nightforce C527; 3.5-15x50 be in the ball park of correct or any other Nightforce scope still being produced...

Die is set according to Forster instructions, I don't change my sizing die setup for different guns, bolt or semi auto and I've never seen this happen with any other brass. I have Lapua brass that's been loaded 10 times (for bolt gun) with no problems in the same die, same setting. Sometimes...

Personally I wouldn't waste my time with it, I have a few thousand rounds of LC that was taken from the M60 range. I deprimed it, cleaned it, sized it with Forster Full Length die and trimmed to length. Loaded it with 41.5 grains of Varget a 175 gr. Sierra Match King and fired it from my 308...

I use a Lyman wet tumbler, but right after tumbling in the Lyman I dump it all into a Dillon media brass separator (any brand will work just fine) and spin it for a bit, all the pins come out and you can pick up any escaped pins with a good magnet. Anyone using the Berger 80.5 Full Bore in XTC High Power Comp's and if so would you share some load data. My go to load for 77 gr. SMK's is 24.1 gr. of N140 in LC brass and Federal AR205M primers, this round shoots very well in all my AR's. Haven't had much success with any of the 80 or higher...

Larue triggers are hard to beat; especially for the cost difference in other brands. I run three of them and really like them, smooth and crisp
