Out of the box problems with my ZCO 527

My latest scope went into A419 rings and I really like them. My other ZCOs are in the ZCO Block Mounts they are also really great.

Poll: Single-Stage or Two-Stage Trigger for NRL/PRS Rimfire?

My precision rifles all wear two stage triggers as they support my chosen shooting style/process. Are they intrinsically better, no, not for everyone. You need to try both. See which fits with and supports a process you can follow and be successfully with and then train under the constraints of...

Yeah, a 419 is a good piece of kit. Somehow I missed the Click. That would account for the point of impact change. Still a chance of a scope issue but dump the Spuhr and send it in.

I totally agree. Anything can ( and often does) happen when dealing with things mechanical. Trust the people at ZCO will make it better than right.

Interesting, as far as them having a systemic problem, I have not seen it in the two I have received in the past month or so. I would get it sent in and see what back. You do need to tighten the rings to 25 in/lb!

Eotech vs Acog vs razor 1-6

I have one as well. My two comments are that I like the reticle, but it seems to be competing with the Aimpoint which has a much smaller form factor. I do like it though, but have not bought another🤔

    Dmr/ precision ar type trigger

Ok, that was not what I took out of it, but if so I totally agree.

    Dmr/ precision ar type trigger

Not sure what a pistol trigger has to with anything here! I have tried hundreds of pistols over the years the autos are ALWAYS a single stage. There is a huge difference between a double action pistol trigger and a 2 stage rifle trigger.

    MDT scope base question

yeah if they don’t take bluing them Stainless. I just use my dremel with with a cutoff wheel to shorten action screws. I will followup with a course sanding drum to clean them up, the stainless is tough to grind.

That is why training is so important, your body knew how much it could press. Some will say you could do the same with a single stage, I don’t agree totally but it is similar to my use of the first stage in matches.
