    Straight jacket barrels

I can no longer find the Straight Jacket manufacturer's contact. The original Teludyne company should have shut down and sold the system to the Falkor company, but I can't find anything on their website... do you by chance know any other contacts? Thanks

PSA: New Recoil Activated Trigger For Labradar

Piet, maybe did you think about mounting a Picatinny adapter under the trigger sensor? I'm thinking to chassis stock or guys that don't love velcroing their rigs. Thanks

    375 cheytac

Brownells sells them as special order: you've to specify action model and caliber, their generic code is 000-000-863

Anyone have pics of the bedding area of McRees and XLR Element chassis?

The inletting action area in the XLR chassis is really well machined. It fits to the action like a glove (both the body and recoil lug). IMHO no needs to glass/skim bed it.

    Rifle Scopes ERA-TAC Adjustable Mount

They're extremely well engineered and built like a German tank, even if they're not so bulky as some competitors; also their return to zero is absolutely reliable ( of course if matched with at-specs Picatinny rails..)

Gunsmithing Float lightweight barrel vs. pressure point.

If the bedding under the action is well accomplished (no play, no tensions..), it's better to avoid any pressure points under the barrel; maybe just a tad of glass compund contact under the cylindrical breech section, if the barrel is really slim.

    Crane MK13 Mod? Specs

It seems a quite abrupt taper contour (to 0.800" @ 26"). Also why is this contour length quoted till 28" and not 26"?....

    Acceptable Elevation Tracking tolerance

In our workshop we test the tracking and actual clicks value of our customers' scopes, through an Hensoldt/Zeiss optic device (see the picture); it's a really accurate instrument. After more than ten years of tests, I can tell you that we never saw an error of more than 0.1mil, with a single top...

Gunsmithing Headspacing Question on my .375 Chey Tac

If the go - gauge dimensions are correct, than it's an ammo headspace issu, since the maximum ammo headspace should/must be always shorter than minimum chamber headspace. Unfortunately there are not SAAMI specs to check with as Cheytac calibers are not SAAMI certified.

Anyone know the actual contour dimensions, for the "official" Mk13-6 Lilja barrel? Thanks in advance.

    Gunsmithing Minimum Chey-tac barrel contour

Hey guys... we're assembling Chey-tac rifles from years, using Stiller Tac-408 actions and Krieger barrels; fully satisfied with accuracy but using a quite mighty barrel contour (i.e. 1.450" breech x 3", then straight taper to 1" at 30"), with XLR chassis or McM A5 stock, final weight is...
