Re: New Rifle Build - 7 mm SAUM Reasons I came up with to "justify" the build well I shoot 175 SMK's at 2750 fps in F-class with a 308 I have a closet full of short action rifles...and several 300 win mag hunting guns...not a 7mm in sight...cept a deer slayin 280 rem wanted to do something...- overthehill

Re: New Rifle Build - 7 mm SAUM Reason I chose 7mm Rem SAUM I liked the short and fat 6mm BR's my buddies were shootn...and wanted to shoot a heavier bullet to buck the wind beyond 600 yards with better barrel life Barrel I ordered has a 5 inch shank so I don't think I'll have any trouble...- overthehill

I could have fed out of the ADL but was talked into going with the external AI type mags...which I admit I'm not that familiar with My smith think's they will work fine.
