    My family doesn't even know what kind of guns I have. It's very rare that anyone gets a peek inside my safe....and the only time a picture of one of my guns gets posted on the internet is if it's for sale.

    KAC SR-25 flash hider removal?

    Soaking in water will not help. I haven't tried it on my EMC yet....but a few taps with a hammer on the side of the flash hider will loosen the rockset and make removal easy.

    Re: Scope options for SCAR 17 The NF 2.5-10x32 has pretty much everything on your priority list covered. Lit reticle, 19 ozs, 12" length and covered turrets if you're willing to go without the zero stop. In fact, I just sent out payment yesterday for one of these to put on my SR-25.

    Re: Which .17 HMR Rifle do you recommend? I've been very pleased with my Savage 93R17 FVSS. I won it a couple years ago at a Friends of NRA dinner and it has done everything I would hope for from a rifle in that caliber....in my case, primarily keeping the groundhog population down.
