If you scroll through a few pages you'll find 30gr is pretty standard. I had to back off a bit with the 108 elds but Berger 105s and 107 smks both shot great with 30gr of varget.

    6mm BR

When I load some more I'll upload some photos. I didn't start high i worked up to that and like everyone has said it's a bit slow burning for a 6 BR. I thought I'd try it since I have 8lbs. I'm getting zero pressure signs so my head and fingers will be just fine, primer pockets are still tight...

Drop tube will get it to the neck/shoulder junction, slow pour slightly in to the neck. I tested up to 34 gr. All lapua brass.

I must have a fast barrel. Just finalized up two loads with RL16 and Varget with 105 VLDs. Elevation is 2500 ft.. Barrel is a 26" Hart. 33.6 gr RL16 with CCI450 (drop tube helps) gave me 2870 avg with an ES of 6 30.5 gr Varget CCI 450 Gave me 2915 Avg with es of 8. Both will shoot sub 1/4".

    6mm BR

I was finally able to get my 6 BR out. I loaded up a bunch of the standby 30gr of Varget and 105gr Berger and it shot right at 1/4 MOA. ES wasn't terrible either with an avg of 2828fps. I tested some different seating depths and was able to print a .16 and a .17 MOA group. I made it over 2900fps...

Whats a realistic velocity i can expect out of IMR 8208 out of a 26" barrel? I also have some 6.5 StaBall to try that I found at the local shop after seeing a few with good results. I have been on the hunt for Varget for over 6 months now and I'm at the point now where its so popular and hard...

On VVs app it says for a 105 the start is 25.8 and the max is 28.9.

    6mm BR

Just did a little test with RL16 and a straight BR case (Lapua). I was able to get 34gr with a drop tube to the neck/shoulder jct. and 32 w/o. Sierra's data says 31.6gr is the max but I have found their data to be way under pressured but I that will at least give me a place to start. Now I just...

Rifle Scopes Trijicon Tenmile 4.5-30x56 Vs. Vortex Razor HD Gen II

I ended up going with the Tract Toric, seemed too good to pass up, I just hope it isn't too good to be true. Haha

Thats good to hear. I bought lapua brass, based on what I have read there is a little more room with lapua over Peterson. Can't wait to get rolling on this. Just waiting for Graf's to get their things in order and ship my dies.

Rifle Scopes Trijicon Tenmile 4.5-30x56 Vs. Vortex Razor HD Gen II

I just stumbled on this post while scope shopping and doing some research on the Tenmile HX 5-25. How is everyone's holding up? I really like their MOA reticle.

I have gathered that I will need a drop tube but I did find some people using it and having great results. Hopefully I can get it to work.
