Recently Shot this load with the 208g Amax at 1000y and first 4 shots were holding sub 3 inch vertical with 5th shot opening up vert to 5 inches due to mirage and barrel heat as i took 10 shots before vertical 5 shot group, could have an excellent Load with further Load and seating depth tweaking.

Ultraman, shoot 185g berger juggernaut and vlds with n540 exellent accuracy but not as temp stable as Varget so have winter/summer loads when using n540.

Varget or vit n540 46.6g, Lapua brass, Berger 185g molly Vld, cci br, 0.40 off lands has yielded best accuracy to date for my Blaser Lrs2 308 with 1 in 11 24in barrel.

Hello rxs0, found best accuracy for 308 barrel with berger 185g Vld molly with Lapua brass oal 2.907, The 185g hybrids didnt group as well probably due to needing tad faster twist or longer barrel length, currently working up load with berger 185g juggernault with 2.907 oal and same powder...
