I have to agree with no1special. Considering current production levels, purchasing levels and manufacturing processes, I'm surprised there aren't more complaints. The industry is building too many guns too fast in an effort to keep up with demand. Something is bound to go wrong.

Firearms more than 5 years old are also expired!
I actually like the Blackhawk S.T.R.I.K.E. speed clips. They're relatively fast to thread in and have a way to secure them. They've always stayed put on my vest and other gear.

I'm guessing that most of the commenters here who don't see the "need" for a side charger on an AR platform are right handed. Left handed people and those with larger optics on their rifles will immediately see the advantage.

Have you looked at the Adcor BEAR elite?
The rifle is a piston system (AR-style), and has a forward charging handle under the top rail of the hand guard. It's switchable from side to side (making it ambidextrous).
