    advice on powder.

    I am about to start load work on a new 7STW and have in the past used IMR7828 for my reloads. 160 to 180 gr will sit top side with a 27" barrel. Does anyone have any advice on another powder to try ? thanks for your time.

    Re: 284 8 twist I am very interested in this topic as well. I am finalizing the build for a 7STW and not sure if I should stick with 9" like I currently have or drop to the 8". I will not shoot anything under 160gr and would love to only shoot 180 VLD's. Any advice is appreciated here as well.

    I have a sporter #5 contour (.700 barrel dia.) that needs a brake. Which is the most effective ? I thought I wanted an FTE but see that min. barrel is .800 and that leaves me in the rain. any advice is appreciated. thanks.
