    Re: 1911 Question Thanks for your response, I'm sure it was a Combat Custom cause I owned it before it was stolen. "Combat Custom" was imprinted on the slide, it came with signature pachmyer grips, combat hammer and sights. Thanks

    Back in the 80"s Colt marketed a model called the "Combat Custom", has this model been renamed or discontinued?
