    Looking to purcase an m1a I have noticed people tend to prefer gi parts over the newer parts. It also seems that the rifels with gi parts bring higher prices.. So why is that and is there any difference in quaility between a new m1a with no gi parts and say one 15 years old with all gi parts.

    new m1a laoded worth 1600??Cant decide

    Im starting to get the feeling a ban is on its way, and would like to get an M1A but the cheapest I can find one is a loaded model for almost 1600. Seems really high, any input ?
