I don’t have problems slinging up and it sure doesn’t slip, I can’t stand the biothane stuff but I hear if you clean it with some spray on Pledge and pinch the keeper they work and adjust better….. Quick question, I know the rules have changed some but other than the cotton M1 sling or the 1907...
I am a Les Tam guy, but I also have a Ron Brown that has broken in rather nicely. Here is my Tam and you could probably pull a Duce 1/2 out of the mud with it
Haven‘t got there yet we hit the road on 3/13, we are headed to Lafayette area. Give us 3-4 days to get there and a few days to unpack and settle in, then I will start looking into ranges. Where are you at, and any recommendations?

If it was a double lugged rifle the front screw would be seen in the mag well, the rifle pictured is a single (rear) lugged receiver. SAI never made a double lugged receiver.
Correct and to add they’re marked per ATF under the stock line Bula as the original forging and James River Armory doing the conversion. Other than the heal, there are zero M14 features . Mine is a wonderful NM spec build that hovers near 1 MOA with good loads, however Bula and James River...
I have a real low round count 82 Star, it has a taste for Wolf and Norma Tac (RWS). The one shot at a time is killing me, I’m wondering if a 82A could be sacrificed to turn the G into a repeater?
