Vepr accuracy degradation, seemingly from bore fouling

Ya, I agree. I actually googled around to see if anybody else is having similar issues as you man. My last suggestion would be contact the company or take the gun to a gunsmith. There is only so much people can do on here for you man. Mostly just limited to suggestions. I would say call the...

So you are not taking the scope out of the rings? Jane you let somebody else shoot the rifle?

    AR10 Ejection Issue

Hard to pull the expended rounds out of the chamber, or the bolt unlocks from the chamber and it binds up half way through the cycle? Basically to my understanding this is the cycle of the gun... It fires, it unlocks, the bcg goes back but not far enough to eject the spent round or snag a new...

So do you change scopes at the range?

    JP Enterprises vs. Larue Tactical

With the low mass bolt the forward assist works? I've looked down in there and it seems like the bolt clears it because of the surface area taken away off the bcg. I'll have to look again!

    JP Enterprises vs. Larue Tactical

Way to turn it around, good job. Larue: I liked how accurate it was, 1/2 to 1 moa on a good day. It was well built to an extent. To me it was a precision milspec gun if that makes sense. It was simple, put it together, suppress/unsuppress gas reg and shoot. Held value well. Solid...

Vepr accuracy degradation, seemingly from bore fouling

Are you shooting 2-300 rounds per range day? If so, fire 15 rounds, see what it's grouping like. Put the gun away. Go home and leave it alone. Go another day and shoot another 15, see what it's doing. I'd be very surprised if a barrel with over 300 rounds still has burrs. I'm more inclined to...

POI shifting down as the rifle heats up

Have you given thought to Paralax adjustment and cheek to stock weld repeatability? When I notice a huge shift in groups, I usually go back to the fundamentals.

Which AR? les baer, FN, DD, Sig.

http://www.2vetsarms.com/product-p/2va308spr.htm A very unique gun right there, right around your price range. Very accurate too.

    JP or Larue in 556

Couldn't find jp stickers anywhere. Personal email to Dustin asking where to buy them and he said he'd ship me a few for free. Customer service alone, jp.

Vepr accuracy degradation, seemingly from bore fouling

Just get some of the mpro 7 carb cleaner with a jag and cotton patch. I don't use very abrasive stuff in my barrel everyday unless I plan on stripping the copper out every 1k rounds or so. Copper is just going to keep the consistentcy in the groups till it starts to spill out the front of the...

Vepr accuracy degradation, seemingly from bore fouling

Use Google to look up why cleaning copper out of your barrel is bad. I agree, it's an ak and not a precision rifle, but if you are trying to get the most out of it accuracy wise, leave the copper in the barrel. Shoot a hundred rounds or so and see if it tightens up.

Vepr accuracy degradation, seemingly from bore fouling

Leave the copper and only clean carbon when you plan on letting it sit for a long time.
