I have doubts they would be able to do that in a 50mm and not have tight parallax. IIRC your depth of field has a lot to do with the ratio between your objective and first focal length. March goes for shorter scopes and so commonly has tight depth of field. Go long and the scope is great, but...
I used Adco to get a cut to 14.5", then pin and weld a Griffen. The pin and weld did not look good, but it works. Green0 on another forum said I'll need to clean it up with a file when I get my can.
It's only $300 once you kinda have illumination parity. You also get a dual focal plane reticle with a tree, and a bigger eyebox, with more zoom. That's 3 major features for $100 apiece. That's seems pretty reasonable to me.
