Billards players, is this room layout reasonable for a table?

Very nice room and a very nice table as well. Our 8ft table is centered in a 19’8” x 13’3” room. It is playable, but barely.

To those who say lower cost guns aren't "accurate"..

If OP has a an exceptionally great Savage, then that’s cool. He’s lucky. I point shot an egg at 7 yd with a very large magnum pistol from the hip. I’ll never repeat that for a number of reasons. Chief among them is not caring.

What Percentile of Shooters Can Shoot 1 MOA?

Maybe the question has to framed up a little. Can I shoot a 1 inch group at 100 yards?… Absolutely. Many here can and do with ease. Can I Clean 1 MOA steel targets, every hundred yards from 300 to 1000? That’s a little harder…

.264" bullet suggestions for 6.5 CM?

I like many others, I have used 140 ELDM with great results for steel and target shooting. While it’s not a dedicated hunting projectile, it has provided excellent results on Whitetail deer as well.

So, who got unemployed today? 2024 Edition

Some industries went on a shopping spree because of supply chain fear and uncertainty. Now we see all that unwinding and companies aren’t doing much buying beyond what is absolutely necessary much less any major capex. We certainly aren’t… The focus is on working capital reduction and cost...

PCP air rifle or .22 rimfire for benchrest?

I can’t speak for a specific benchrest capacity but I have a BSA super 10 in 22 cal. It is astoundingly accurate and fun to shoot. PCP air rifles are an excellent way to supplement any regular firearm training. I can shoot everday out in the backyard if inclined to do so.

Competing vs family life with small kids

When they were old enough I started taking them with me to the range. They love to shoot and are both great shooters. You will find lots of joy in sharing this with your kids. I certainly did.

Shooting will be there (most likely), the kids grow fast and will not.

Competing vs family life with small kids

Yeah…it wasnt possible. I took a long vacation from shooting. My youngest is in college now, so it’s slowly coming back. Once she’s graduated, I am hoping to get back to matches (and have a little more discretionary funds lol).

How to get that funky smell out of your truck?

Careful with ozone. If you go so far as to rent an ozone generator, don’t run it long. Ozone will degrade rubber and nuke seals and the like. A smelly truck is better than a leaky truck. Hopefully a good scrub or detailing will sort it out.
