Re: Redhead spotting scope Thanks for the reply Vux51. I did end up getting the scope but haven't had much time to try it out. Glass seems fine but, the eye relief is very small! It should be helpful seeing the bullet holes at 200+ yard out. Not sure how far out I'll be able to see. Paul

If you are running a 20 MOA base, where do you measure the center of your scope for Ballistic programs? Seems like the canted scope mount could add in error? What's the proper method? I have a 5R milspec with Wotac Gen5 4-14, Burris xtr low mount rings, and EGW 20MOA mount. Paul

Re: remington 5r I purchased a new 5R milspec in 308 about a month ago. I paid a 1K for mine also. Finally got a chance to shoot it today. I must say, it's a great!!! I'd keep yours unless you need the money. Took me close to 3 years to find one in Michigan. Paul
