Tikka 595 chambered in 260 by Spartan Rifles

The rifle came from Tikka chambered in 7-08 with a varmint contour barrel. And while I came to love shooting 7-08, now that the barrel was shot out, economics dictated that I chamber it in something that would use the same bullets as my other Tikka in 6.5x55. So thanks to Vu providing me with a...

As 2014 Approaches does this need to be addressed ?

Since your proposed Tactical Rifleman League looks to be a series of big matches put on around the country, I don't see that many "new to the sport people" taking part in them due to time/money considerations and lack of experience. I would see them taking part in local monthly club matches to...

    F T/R Competition Supressors

Re: Supressors Gil The High Power/F Class people I've talked with don't actually have any objection to suppressors, just muzzle brakes. Just making a guess, but I would imagine that the reason suppressors are not legal for NRA competition is because they are not legal to use/possess in all...

    Finn 28-76 precision (sniper?) rifle

I got my Finn 28-76 target rifle a couple years ago when they were first being imported. They're based on the Finn M28 action/barrel which (most all) have a true .308 bore. I'm a big fan of wood stocks, and this style in particular which is very similar to my Tikka 595 & 695 Master Sporter...

    1903 Springfield vs 1917 Enfield.iu

Re: 1903 Springfield vs 1917 Enfield.iu If you look at the results from the CMP National matches and Eastern and Western games, for the vintage class, the 1917 seems to be the favorite U.S. rifle to use. http://clubs.odcmp.com/cgi-bin/report_eventAward.cgi?matchID=5690&eventID=14&awardID=1...

    7mm-08

Re: 7mm-08 I shoot my factory Tikka 595 in 7-08 with 1/9.5 in our monthly LR tactical bolt rifle matches. All the way to 1000 yards, using both the Hornady 162 AMAX and 162 BTHP. Not a problem at all.
