Yes, I tried to search, and didnt see an answer (before you flame me) Decided to bite the big one, and dump $150 on QuickLoad.. However, I was VERY underwhelmed on their 1999 GeoCities-style website. Is there a legit place to download this online? According to their website, they are...
No matter where I buy my supplies at, I always buy them in lots of 1000 for primers and bullets, and 8 lbs of powder. This saves me money by buying in quantity.. But I simply cant get my reloading costs below $0.35 per round.. This weekend at a training shoot, one of the guys we were...
I need to test my reloads for MV variance between temperatures.. My comeups are different enough between 72F and 100F, that I need to Chrono my rounds through a couple different temps, preferably on the same day at identical ranges.. Would putting one set of rounds in a cooler under ice...
It replicates my data at 1040 only.. thats not the problem, as I can get my calculators to match up on a single range as well.. its the REST of the curve that doesnt match up.. What the calculator gives me, and my confirmed dope only intersect at one point.. I can make that intersection any...
My 178 AMax runs about 2727, very close to yours.. My 1040 dope is 34.75MOA with a 100yd zero as well.. And when I adjust my velocity to get close to my dope values, I can recreate the general curve / drop of my actual data, but only at much lower velocities.. It may just be...
yeah, I tried JBM and Hornady online ballistic calculators.. I can get one yardage or two to be close, but the rest are increasingly farther off. I'm looking for some kind of calculator that allows you to input the dope you know, and calculate the MOA values for the remainder.. I've...
I'm sure this has been asked a few times, but I honestly searched and couldnt find an answer in the forums.. Sorry.. :-( How do you flesh out your DOPE card, from the few known ranges you have? For example.. I shoot at CRC like a lot of you, but the high power range does not have berms...
Does anyone have a copy of QuickLoad that can run some numbers for me? I get ejector marks on almost every load I use.. Raised enough to feel with your fingernail, and NONE of my loads are at Book Max according to Lymans.. I get those ejector marks on almost every round, for 700+ rounds...
My Lake City is all right around 55.3 gr of water when I capacity tested them... I have one lot of 60 SBS, and it measured right at 55.2 gr of water.. So from my experience, they are pretty much the same..
I have a BPM (Barnes Precision Machine) AR.. And I couldnt be happier with it.. They machine EVERYTHING inhouse, so tolerances are VERY tight.. Using standard 55gr plinking ammo, I shoot 16" silhouette gongs at 550 yards all day long, with a $100 4x's red dot.... Not sure exactly what...
