Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

Action Guy...thanks for all the replies and help. I measured the two piece bases and they seem straight, but I had already ordered the factory steel 20moa base from Midwest... The DBM mags insert and remove easier when the action or bottom metal is out of the stock, ...no matter the TBM system...

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

So, a few pages back, I posted about a PBR with control round push feed I bought locally. It exhibited some issues. My local gunsmith fixed the extraction/ejection issues, and adjusted the trigger. But, it continues to shoot, what I think, is very low. Two different scopes and rings, albeit...

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

I'm in Utah, near SLC. I do have another scope, an older PST, just waiting on some 30mm rings that I ordered to come in, that was the plan, to try at least one other scope.

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

Looking at midwest gun works, they list internal mag box and followers for controlled round push feed, so...at least that looks like an option. Might be the most "future proof" way to go.

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

Might need to put this in the gunsmithing section, but... Took the Winchester/HS Precision stock and look to see how much fitting the factory DBM bottom metal will need, thinking it was just to open the the area around the front screw. Just eyeballing it, the mag inlet in the stock, into the...

Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

Just picked this PBR up, locally. Controlled push feed, DBM. Was just going to put an older Leupold MK AR on it and leave it be. The Leupold is a tight fit on the 2pc rail, so..this Blackhawk/Weaver 3-10x was mounted. Ran out of UP elevation zeroing at 100y Not sure whats going on there. Found...

Gunsmithing Aftermarket Stock for Remington 660

I went thru this not long ago, posted about it here, also. 600 Mohawk with a fluted Hart barrel in some unknown synthetic stock, that was too long for me. Basically there isn't much to choose from. Boyds will inlet for it. McMillan told me all they could do was sell me a flat top with the...

    FN PBR XP

Perhaps, but, I had checked on line and didn't see but one PBR, asking about that IIRC. Hell, I think I even asked around here. What guns originally sold for doesn't always mean anything when talking about current value/asking price. I already had the stock and the hinged floorplate from PT&G(?)...

    FN PBR XP

I recently bought a PBR, paid 1K cash for it. Was in excellent condition. Mine came with the green hogue stock and factory DBM. My smith bedded it in a McMillan HTG stock I got from MGW. Took a bit of fiddling to get the right combo of mag box, spring and follower. If you get it, and want the...
