    Rifle cases for shipping

    Why can it not look like a rifle case? If you are shipping it then it will need to be in a box also or wrapped in cardboard, in which case who cares what it looks like? Any cheap hard case with foam that will accommodate the O.A.L. of the finished rifle will work.

    I'll do my best I'll be going to a range tonight that has a max of 600, but I should be able to verify at 1000 Friday. I'll post back when I figure it out.

    Thanks for the quick replies I'll mess with it a bit more tomorrow and see if I can verify the muzzle velocity. I figured it would need some fine tuning, i'll give it a go.

    help with barrel length

    At that distance either barrel length will be more that adequate. Personally I would be more worried about the rifles intended use. Is it going to be carried around? In that case go 20". Is it going to be taken to the range and set on a bench? Then go with 24".

    Just got a Rtm build back from PCR and I used a Defiance Mutant, wouldn't change a thing. Action feels like its on ball bearings. My vote is for Defiance.

    New Atlas Bipod--Play in Legs Usual?

    I plugged on of these babies into my aics less than a year ago and fell in love, as stated above, loading is so much easier. "Play in the legs" is to be expected. I shot Harris for years and they make a fine product but Atlas blows them away imho.

    Take it from a guy who has owned over 30 cameras. Bushnell, Cuddeback , Reconyx , etc... Reconyx , as expensive as they are, are the only camera I buy these days. They take perfect pictures hardly ever blurring. The cameras I have have never failed. We set ours and don't check them for 5 weeks...

    I haven't tried it on mine just yet but they say a strip from an old mouse pad works great. I need to call Gary and find out about a rubber butt plate, I haven't shot one of these Rtm's yet but it looks painful if your only wearing a T-shirt.

    Just sent my RTM to PCR, good to know mine wont be the first one they've done ; ). Nice looking rifle. I take it they must have machined a spot for the safety?
