Thank you for the advice. I just took (July 01) the Unknown Munitions reloading class, in SLC. I may buy the dies to re-load the cartridge - down the road. In no way will I jump in and begin reloading this cartridge anytime soon. The PPU round costs about $6.00 each. It does not help...

Total newbie re-loader. RCC has brass but it is real expensive. Domestically it is very difficult to find any ammo. The two domestic suppliers are in no rush to sell any. I have not yet purchased any dies for this. The dies are expensive and it may not even be worth it to buy the dies...

Lapua will probably also sell ammo. Maybe release brass to the commercial market.

As far as I know the Italian guv will not approve export permits, for civvies.

PGWDTI is trying to obtain certification for their Direwolf semi-auto .338. I mentioned to Nate he may want to consult with a well known Firearms law firm in D.C., to help facilitate the Form 6 and evaluation process with Technology Branch. I guess it may not be worth the effort at this point.
