I wasn't very happy the first time I took out the RRA. It took too long to sight in and I ran out of ammo before I could get some decent shooting going. There were probably a few things I did wrong mounting the scope. This is my first one. Looking at it now in the pics I need to flip the scope...

I took the Burris back to Bass Pro. Since Nikon was having a sale on their optics I traded the Burris for a Monarch3 4x16-42 and it only cost me an extra $20. For the close range shots I'll figure something out... next pay day.

Ok. So it looks like I didn't do enough reading about what kind of optics best fit me. The Burris I have I think would be "OK" out to 100 yds and a bit challenging for close range, 10-25yds.
