    Which bullet in M-1 Garand?

Re: Which bullet in M-1 Garand? No Sir. The match ammo for the Garand used a 173 gr bullet. The powder is the key in the garand. You must stay in the same range as the 4895, 4064. The NRA publication on the M1 suggests using powders faster than IMR4320 and bullets of 180 grain weight or...

    Which bullet in M-1 Garand?

Re: Which bullet in M-1 Garand? Service rifles have floating firing pins. You want to be sure the round enters the chamber with no hangups. Chamber a round and then extract it. You will see the primer indented by the firing pin. ARs are the same. You should always full length size for...

    Which bullet in M-1 Garand?

Re: Which bullet in M-1 Garand? Either powder will work in your Garand. IMR 4064 is used for alot of match loads as well as IMR and H4895. Bullets 175 and lower work great.http://mscg.yuku.com/topic/2579 Be sure to full length size cases and insure primers are seated flush or below case head.

Re: M1 Garand build?? I would also suggest Dean at Dean's gun restorations. He does some very fine work. I have a copy of Kuhnhausens book and some small Garand parts from the CMP, Orions, DGR and other places if you are going to piece it together yourself. I would suggest buying a...

Whats the stright dope on CZ 452 triggers?

Re: Whats the stright dope on CZ 452 triggers? Hi Jeff, I just installed a Rimfire Technologies adjustable sear in a 16" American. It took out all the overtravel. Trigger pull is at four pounds, but if you clip one coil off the trigger spring you can reduce it to about two pounds. They...

    .22lr semi auto pistol

Re: .22lr semi auto pistol I dont think you can go wrong with the Ruger or Buckmark. I currently own a Smith model 41, a Walther P22 and a Buckmark. The Walter w/ suppressor and the Buckmark make it to the range the most often. The Rugers I have owned were always accurate and reliable. Randy

Loading for M1 Garand vs. M1A

Re: Loading for M1 Garand vs. M1A Recon1, this is an excellent article on loading for both. http://www.zediker.com/downloads/14_loading.pdf. Use caution to always full length size cases, so they chamber easily. Insure primers are fully seated below the case head and preferably use a...
