    I have a 6.5 Creedmoor in model 12 lrpv that has shot .335 with factory ammo and under 1 inch group at 540 yards. It does this consistently.

    25 mag is not too much even for a 300-yard prairie dog those things are the size of a pop can and you never see it the whole prairie dog at that distance

    Agree completely, I had two B14 HMR 22 250 fast twist, poor shooters returned both of them. Not close to custom. Tikka quality and accuracy is much better.

    Is my .260 neck too tight

    I have a 260 I thought had a tight neck but ultimately determined that I was loading the bullets a little bit too long. It also has a tendency to raise the zero vertically after 10 - 15 rounds.

    3" group @ 1000

    I love my Savages, accuracy plus for the money. I have a stock lrpv 6.5 Creedmoor that consistently puts 3 shots into an inch or under at 540 yds with factory ammo. Others do similar.
